3-164 Andolsun, Allâh müminleri kesinlikle minnet altında bıraktı; hani içlerine kendilerinden bir Resul gönderdi de onlara O’nun âyetlerini tilâvet ediyor ve onları tezkiye ediyor[1] ve onlara Kitab’ı ve hikmeti öğretiyor; önceden kesinlikle apaçık bir dalaletin içinde olmuş olsalar da!
3-165 Ve size bir musibet isabet ettiğinde –onun iki mislini isabet ettirmiştiniz– ‘bu nerden’ mi dediniz? De ki: o sizin kendi tarafınızdandır! Muhakkak ki Allâh her şey üzerine Kadîr’dir.[2]

3-164 Allah had indeed obliged the believers, when He sent in them a messenger from themselves, he is reciting on them His Ayats, and purifying them, and teaching them The Book and the wisdom. Even if they were from before certainly in a clear misguidance!
3-165 What! And when an affliction hit you –you had already hit equal to it twice– you said: whence is this? Say: it is from at yourselves! Surely Allah is on every thing Kadeer.[1]
