3-7 O’dur ki senin üzerine Kitab’ı indirdi. Ondan kimi ayetler muhkem’dir;[231] onlar Kitab’ın anasıdır; diğerleri ise müteşabih’tir.[232] Ancak kalplerinde bir kayma bulunanlar var ya, işte onlar fitneyi elde etmek için ve onun tevilini[233] elde etmek için ondan müteşabih olanlara tabi oluyorlar; hâlbuki onun tevilini, Allâh hariç, kimse bilmiyor. İlimde kökleşenler ise diyorlar ki: ona iman ettik; tümü Rabbimizin katındandır. Yine de, temiz akıllılar hariç, kimse hatırlatma kabul etmiyor.

3-7 It is He who descended upon you the Book; from it are mohkam[11] Ayats;[12] they are mother of the Book; while others Motashabehat.[13] As for those in whose hearts is a deviation, so they are following what resembled from it, desiring the confusion and desiring its ta’veel;[14] but none is knowing its ta’veel except Allah. Hence those rooted in science are saying: “we believed in it, All is from our Sustainer”. Yet none is receiving remembrance except those possessed of the pure minds.
